Bement High School art students took part in Plein-air painting at Allerton Park on Friday. Before our trip, students practice different watercolor techniques and watercolor painting. Students also got some great advice from Plein-air painter Peg Schinkedanz. Students had a lot of fun painting in nature and checking out the new nature center at Allerton Park. @Allerton Park https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1zeGNC8PB1awWw7QnT4kDM9m3igHgQAyd?usp=sharing_eil_se_dm&ts=66edd731

Students in Mrs. Corum's 8th Grade Intro to FCS class have been studying future career options. Students took an interest survey and then researched 3 possible career options based on their results. They then interviewed their peers to learn more about different career opportunities and will meet with our guidance counselor to explore their future plans. Careers ranged from pediatricians, teachers, farmers, detectives, EMT's, writers, and zoo keepers. Students also began their infant care unit this week as they learned about the various reasons why babies cry and how to respond to each care event with our infant simulators.
