A total of 32 professionals and career speakers participated in today’s 8th–12th grade Career Fair, providing students with valuable insight into a wide range of career pathways. Students had the opportunity to attend three different breakout sessions based on their interests.
Career fields represented included agriculture, engineering, healthcare, creative media, automotive, cosmetology, skilled trades, business, and law enforcement.
We extend our sincere appreciation to all of the professionals who generously volunteered their time to share their experiences with our students. A special thank you goes to Mrs. Nelson, Guidance Counselor, for her outstanding efforts in organizing this event.

The MS/HS Spring Play, Sleeping Beauty: Briar Rose, was performed tonight, Thursday, March 26th. If you weren’t able to attend due to the weather, we invite you to join us for another performance on Friday, March 27th at 7:00 PM. Our students did an outstanding job!

FCCLA Students that earned 150 points for completing service projects throughout the school year, earned a field trip to Chicago. Students learned about the store IKEA, toured and shopped some great products, and their personal chef prepared an amazing spread of Swedish food for lunch. They wrapped up the day by visiting the Shedd Aquarium.
Throughout the day, our students received multiple compliments from hosts and staff who were impressed by their respectful behavior, positive attitudes, and engagement. One comment in particular stood out: “Your group was hands down the most pleasant group of teenagers we have ever had the pleasure of hosting here.”- Amy Dunn, Communications and Events Specialist, IKEA. We are incredibly proud of how our students conducted themselves and the lasting impression they made.

Bement High School band students were selected to participate in the LPC Honor Band Festival held at Heritage High School. The ensemble, made up of talented musicians from across all LPC conference schools, delivered an outstanding performance.
The honor band was conducted by Dr. Jennifer A. Moder-Bell, Professor of Music Education and Director of Bands at McKendree University in Lebanon, Illinois.
