
Kirby Medical Center if offering sport physicals to any Cerro Gordo Bement athlete on Wednesday, July 16th from 3:00-5:00 PM at Cerro Gordo High School. The cost is $25 (cash or check only) and Kirby will donate $20 from each physical back to the Cerro Gordo Bement Booster Club. The 8th Grade KidWind team is currently in Phoenix in two days of wind tunnel testing/challenges, quizzing and judges interviews. The first picture is of teams from Illinois that qualified for National Competition. So proud of our team and school!





The 8th Grade STEM team started their journey to Phoenix, Arizona this morning to compete in the KidWind National Competition. Two team members will join them in Arizona after they compete in the state track meet today and tomorrow. Good luck to everyone!


Middle School students enjoyed a morning of fishing as the school year wraps up.






Six 8th grade students attended the Parkland College Trade-Up event.. They participated in hands on activities in welding, brick laying, automotive and collision repair, land surveying, carpentry and electrical work.

7th Grade Life Science hatched baby chickens this spring. The chicks were very popular and all the middle school students enjoyed spending time with them.





Bement Middle School students who qualified for 4th quarter Breakout spent the day at Malibu Jacks in Springfield. Everyone had a great time.

Bement 6th grade students enjoyed studying Earth Science this year. They were able to build and set off Volcanoes!

Avery Stoerger, Sophia Kindred and Emma Hostetler received best artwork awards through the Piatt County ROSC Prevention Thru Art contest. They will have their artwork displayed on the electronic billboard in Monticello. Congratulations!


A CGB Booster Club Meeting will be held on April 23 (Wednesday) at Cerro Gordo High School starting at 6pm. They will be electing officers and discussing 2025-2026 events.
