High school students attended the Love for the Arts day at EIU. Kylie Ross won first place in the ceramics category. Emmalyn Ewers won 3rd place in the sculpture category. Congratulations to both!

Venue: Monarch Event Center (212 S. Independence St.- Monticello)
Promenade: 5:30pm at Monarch Event Center. Family and friends are invited to take pictures and hear their student's name announced from 5:30-6:00pm.
After Prom: Takes Place at Bement High School 10:00pm-2:00am
A CGB Booster Club Meeting will be held on April 23 (Wednesday) at Cerro Gordo High School starting at 6pm. They will be electing officers and discussing 2025-2026 events. Senior Spotlight
Brayden Strack and Cliff Strack were recipients of the Lincoln Prairie Conference Principal’s Award. The award recognizes students for their participation and dedication in conference activities and for being outstanding students in their respective high schools. A luncheon was held at Yoder’s Kitchen with all LPC student award winners. Congratulations Brayden and Cliff!
The State Bank of Bement presented a presentation on banking services and using credit wisely to seniors in Mrs. Corum's Consumer Education class. Special thanks to Michelle Gross and her assistant Michael and the bank for sponsoring cash prizes for the winning jeopardy team.
