The Junior Class is excited to announce our Golf Ball Drop Fundraiser to support the 2026 Bement High School Prom!

Here’s how it works:

Golf balls will be dropped from above onto a designated target at the Homecoming Bonfire on WEDNESDAY, October 15th at 6:45pm.

The golf ball that lands closest to the target wins a prize! We will also have bullseyes sponsored by various businesses to win prizes.

Each $20 ticket gives you one golf ball entry into the drop.
How to Purchase:

Reach out to any Junior student or Mrs. Corum or Mrs. Clodfelter.

Tickets may be purchased with cash or by check (payable to Bement School).

Today, Mrs. Leinard’s Sports & Entertainment Marketing class had the privilege of hearing from Cerro Gordo graduate Sophie Ozier, General Manager of the Arkansas Travelers.

She shared her journey from internships with the St. Louis Blues and Fox Sports Midwest to entry-level positions and ultimately becoming GM of a Double-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. Sophie encouraged students to pursue their passions and reminded them that a career in sports marketing is possible—starting right here in our hometown.
