Power

We are happy to report that power has been restored to the Bement school building, and at this time school is planned to be in session on Monday, March 16.

The weather forecast for Sunday evening into early Monday morning, however, is shaping up to be a little dramatic. Current forecasts show the potential for strong storms Sunday evening with high winds and the possibility of tornadoes, followed by rapidly dropping temperatures that could bring blowing snow and flash-freezing road conditions overnight.

In true Illinois fashion, we may experience multiple seasons in just a few hours.

District administrators will continue to monitor weather conditions closely throughout Sunday evening and early Monday morning. If weather conditions require any changes to the school schedule, families will be notified through our usual communication channels.

For now, we are thankful the power is restored and look forward to welcoming students and staff back on Monday, unless Mother Nature has other plans for us.

Please stay safe and watch for updates if needed.
