Bement Elementary School will hold Preschool and Kindergarten Screenings for the 2026–2027 school year on Wednesday, April 15.
Preschool Screening
Children will be screened for the Preschool Program if they:
Are 3 years old by April 15
Will not turn 5 before September 1, 2026
Current Pre-K students do not need to be rescreened
Kindergarten Screening
All children who will be 5 years old before September 1, 2026 should participate in the kindergarten screening.
What to Bring
Parents should bring:
A certified copy of the child’s birth certificate
A copy of the child’s immunization records

Screenings are by appointment only.

Physical exams for students entering Pre-K and Kindergarten are due on the first day of attendance in August, so families are encouraged to schedule appointments with their healthcare provider early.
