Thank you for visiting my site! I am very excited to be a part of the Bulldog Nation!  I graduated from Westville High School, earned my Bachelor's and Master's degree from Eastern Illinois University. I have over 20 years experience in teaching physical education and coaching various sports and activities.

For the Elementary Physical Education program, we emphasize individual skill development, physical fitness development and working together as a team.

In the High School Health program, we introduce the physical and physiological systems of the human body. Explore nutritional information and diet planning. Introduce basic CPR and First aid. Look at building relationships throughout a lifetime, Explore the current situations with drug and alcohol information. And how to build and maintain a good, healthy self-concept for life.

In the Fitness and Conditioning Program...we utilize the Bigger Faster, Stronger program for resistance training.  Also incorporate activities to develop cardiovascular conditioning, flexibility, foot-speed and a well-rounded state of physical fitness.

For information on the resistance program visit the website:    https://www.biggerfasterstronger.com/

For Middle School Health, we introduce basic body systems and nutrition to sustain the systems. We address the development of good decision-making skills, conflict resolution, stress management and relationship building.  We utilize the program "Too Good For Drugs" through the Piatt County Mental Health Department to incorporate how to handle influences facing young people
