Me llamo Señora Halliday. I am currently retired but am enjoying additional time in the classroom. I started as the Spanish teacher here in Bement in 2017 after teaching in many central Illinois schools. I was born and raised in Davenport, IA where I graduated from Central High. I went on to study at Olivet Nazarene College in Kankakee where I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Spanish. Later, I attended Illinois State University in Normal where I received a minor in Speech Communication. My Master's degree was earned at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. My husband and I retired to Monticello where we enjoy spending time with friends and making new ones! |
