Tommy Bales-BHS Student of the Month
Launch the media gallery 1 playerTommy Bales was honored on February 8 th as Bement High School January Student of the Month.
Andrew Brown, high school business teacher commented, “Tommy has a great work ethic and has taken a leadership role in everything he does here at school. He has matured into a voice of reason for his peers and will have success in his future.” Tommy has participated in cross country, football and basketball this year. He is also involved in LifeSavers, Scholastic Bowl, Spring Play, FCCLA, Math Club, Art Club, IT Club, Student Council and National Honor Society. Tommy is the son of Charles Bales of Bement and Kristy Warick of Bement.
The Student of the Month Award is co-sponsored by the High School Student Council and the State Bank of Bement. Its purpose is to recognize a student whose attitude and involvement serve to improve our school. This award was announced during an assembly where Tommy was presented a certificate by Annie Hobson, Student Council Sponsor, and a gift card by Ken Wright from the State Bank of Bement.
