Wes Palmer-BHS April Student of the Month

Wes Palmer was honored on May 7, as Bement High School April Student of the Month. Stephanie Witts, high school English and math teacher commented, “Wes is one of the most polite, caring and helpful students in our school.  He is always thinking of others and is a great example to everyone.  He has a great work ethic and strives to be the best he can be.  Angie Corum and Julie Reynolds, district music teachers, stated that Wes is involved in band, choir, jazz band and musical.  He contributes greatly to the groups and is a very good musician.  He is a good section leader in all groups, hardworking and dependable.  Wes is the son of George Palmer of Bement.

The Student of the Month Award is co-sponsored by the High School Student Council and the State Bank of Bement.  Its purpose is to recognize a student whose attitude and involvement serve to improve our school.  This award was announced during an assembly where Alex was presented a certificate by Doug Kepley, high school principal, and a gift card from the State Bank of Bement presented by Tabitha Elder.
