Jill Urbach
RtI Instructor

Welcome to RtI!

RtI stands for Response to Intervention. I work with individual or small groups of students who need extra help learning classroom concepts. The RtI team uses researched based methods and frequent assessments to make sure each student is learning and developing the skills being taught.

This is my 12th year teaching at Bement. Before I came to Bement, I was a stay at home mom, and I taught 13 years in Urbana Schools as a first or third grade teacher.  I also have been a substitute teacher and a cross-categorical teacher's aide. I received my Bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Illinois, and my Master's degree in curriculum, instruction, and assessment from Walden University.

I live by White Heath with my husband, two daughters, and two Shetland sheepdogs.  I use a lot of my free time reading, gardening, and attending dog agility competitions with my daughter.

Bement is a wonderful and friendly school to work and learn at! It is an honor to work with the students and families here!  Please feel free to contact me if you ever have any questions!
