Gabrielle Block, 2018 Bement Elementary Spelling Bee Champion!

The Bement Elementary School Spelling Bee was held on Wednesday, January 17 in Walsh Gymnasium. 5th Grader Gabrielle Block edged out 6th Grader Quinn Flavin to take top honors. These two spellers will be joined by the class champions: Ella Corum, 4th Grade, Kade Alumbaugh, 7th Grade, and Cade Flavin, 8th Grade and will move on to the Piatt County Spelling Bee on February 15 at Atwood-Hammond Elementary.

Bement Color Run! Saturday, April 7th!

The Bulldogs on the Run Program is hosting a non-timed 5K color run here in Bement on Saturday, April 7 at 9 a.m. If you register by March 1st, entry fee is $20, after March 1st, the entry fee is $25. All funds raised will benefit the Bulldogs on the Run Program. Please make checks payable to Bement Schools. Entry Form

The 3rd-5th Grade Enrichment Group visited the Piatt County Courthouse after school to see how justice is administered. Ms. McKibben and Mrs. Connelly can report back that the kids had a great time!
