BHS January Student of the Month-Alexis Jones

Alexis Jones was honored on February 20^th as Bement High School January Student of the Month. 

Andrew Brown, business teacher, commented, “Alexis is heavily involved in clubs and extracurricular activities, yet maintains a level of high quality work in all of her classes.  Her work ethic is an example to other students and is to be commended”.  Alexis is a member or Art Club, Industrial Technology Club, FCCLA, Spanish Club, Student Council, Yearbook, Band and the Spring Play.   Alexis is the daughter of Jini Butler of Bement. 

The Student of the Month Award is co-sponsored by the High School Student Council and State Bank of Bement.  Its purpose is to recognize a student whose attitude and involvement serve to improve our school.  This award was announced during an assembly where Alexis was presented a certificate by Jill Clodfelter, Student Council Co-Sponsor, and a gift card by Ken Wright from the State Bank of Bement.
