February Student of the Month-Kiersten Rogers
Kiersten Rogers was honored on March 7th as Bement High School February Student of the Month.
Rachel Halliday, Spanish teacher commented, “Kiersten is a great leader in class and in many school clubs. Kiersten also knows when to step back and allow others to lead. She is involved in school and community activities and her desire is to not only do her personal best, but to help others succeed as well. She is an asset to our school.” Kiersten participates in FCCLA, Math Club, National Honor Society Treasurer, Lifesavers, Yearbook, Student Council, and Spanish Club President. Kiersten is the daughter of Kyle and Kelly Rogers of Bement.
The Student of the Month Award is co-sponsored by the High School Student Council and the State Bank of Bement. Its purpose is to recognize a student whose attitude and involvement serve to improve our school. This award was announced during an assembly where Tommy was presented a certificate by Annie Hobson, Student Council Sponsor, and a gift card by Ken Wright from the State Bank of Bement.
