Shelby Strack-BHS September Student of the Month
Shelby Strack was honored on October 19th as Bement High School September Student of the Month.
Angie Corum, high school FACS teacher commented, “Shelby is a leader that stands out among her peers. She motives her peers to succeed, especially in FCCLA activities and fundraising for the junior class. Shelby plays volleyball, softball and is a member of Math Club, National Honor Society, Art Club, Student Council, Spanish Club, Lifesavers and Yearbook. Shelby is the daughter of Roger and Denise Strack of Ivesdale”.
The Student of the Month Award is co-sponsored by the High School Student Council and the State Bank of Bement. Its purpose is to recognize a student whose attitude and involvement serve to improve our school. This award was announced during an assembly where Shelby was presented a certificate by Annie Hobson, Student Council Sponsor, and a gift card by Michelle Gross from the State Bank of Bement.
