Terran Trusner-BHS October Student of the Month

Terran Trusner was honored on November 3, as Bement High School October Student of the Month.

David Elder, social studies teacher commented, “Terran is an honor roll student.  He is active in football, track and Lifesavers.  He has recently attained the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank in Boy Scouts.  He raises and lowers our flag at school every day and this summer he designed and built a new flower landscape located under the Bement High School sign.  Terran is someone who has great enthusiasm and is willing to help others on a constant basis.  Terran is very deserving of this honor for his efforts here at school and in the community.  Terran is the son of Sam and Kathy Trusner Bement.

The Student of the Month Award is co-sponsored by the High School Student Council and the State Bank of Bement.  Its purpose is to recognize a student whose attitude and involvement serve to improve our school.  This award was announced during an assembly where Terran was presented a certificate by Student Council co-sponsor Stephani Witts and a gift card from the State Bank of Bement presented by Michelle Gross.
