Teah Benson-September Student of the Month

Tabitha Elder, State Bank of Bement, and Frankie Foran, BHS Student Council, present to BHS October Student of the Month Teah Benson.

Teah Benson was honored on October 1, as Bement High School September Student of the Month.

Julie Reynolds, district music teacher commented, “As co-captain of the Color Guard, Teah has put a tremendous amount of time into making not only herself successful but the group as well.  She has come to several practices on top of the ones that are required of her.  She has also spent countless hours of her own time working with new guard members to help them feel confident about the routine.  Her incredible patience and selfless attitude have truly made the guard a better group.  She continuously puts the needs of the group ahead of her own and she is an exemplary role model for her peers.  Teah is the daughter of Jeremy and Kami Benson of Bement.

The Student of the Month Award is co-sponsored by the High School Student Council and the State Bank of Bement.  Its purpose is to recognize a student whose attitude and involvement serve to improve our school.  This award was announced during an assembly where Teah was presented a certificate by Student Council co-president Frankie Foran and gift card from the State Bank of Bement presented by Tabitha Elder.
