Alex Smith-BHS March Student of the Month
Launch the media gallery 1 playerAlexandra Smith was honored on April 9, as Bement High School March Student of thenMonth. Beth Hill, high school Spanish teacher commented, “Alex is a genuine, sincere and hard- working student during all Spanish club activities and events. She has an excellent work ethic in all classes and serves as a leader for all students.” Alex is involved in FCCLA, Art Club, Math Club, Student Council, Yearbook, Lifesavers and Scholastic Bowl. Alex is the daughter of Robert and Julie Smith of Bement.
The Student of the Month Award is co-sponsored by the High School Student Council and the State Bank of Bement. Its purpose is to recognize a student whose attitude and involvement serve to improve our school. This award was announced during an assembly where Alex was presented a certificate by Doug Kepley, high school principal, and a gift card from the State Bank of Bement presented by Ken Wright.
